RMB Corporate Finance team recognised for dealmaking excellence at DealMakers annual awards
RMB’s Corporate Finance team was celebrated at the ANSARADA DealMakers Annual Gala Awards, held on 18 February 2025 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg. The awards honour firms and professionals who have set the benchmark for excellence, innovation, and leadership in M&A and corporate finance. An independent panel assessed the top deals and industry achievements of 2024, and recognised RMB’s significant role in shaping the dealmaking landscape.
RMB is proud to have won the M&A investment advisers category for both deal value and flow. It is the third time that RMB has topped the Dealmakers M&A league tables for both deal value and flow in the same year and the only financial adviser to have done so. In the 25 years that DealMakers has ranked advisers, RMB has been first by deal value an unprecedented 11 times, with the next placed adviser having done so on four occasions.
RMB is also honoured to have won the 2024 BEE investment advisers by value and Sponsor by value. These wins are testament to the strength of our franchise built on enduring and trusted client relationships, execution excellence, industry and sector leadership as well as innovative transaction structuring.
Krishna Nagar, head of RMB Corporate Finance and Dave Sinclair, head of RMB Equity Capital Markets, were nominated for the highly sought-after Individual Dealmaker of the Year for 2024. This market recognition is a powerful endorsement of their individual accomplishments in 2024 as well as the overall strength of RMB’s dealmaking capabilities.
Furthermore, RMB advised on several transactions nominated in the Deal of the Year and Private Equity Deal of the Year categories.
