Trevor joined RMB in 2014 to lead the bank’s structured solutions offering to broader African clients. He has subsequently held the roles of COO of FirstRand Bank Limited’s London branch and CEO of FirstRand Securities Limited, which remains Africa’s only LCH SwapClear clearing member to date.
Trevor has over 25 years’ experience in cross-border financial solutions and developed market infrastructure for Corporate and Institutional clients seeking access to and from Africa.
An entrepreneur at heart, Trevor was attracted to FirstRand’s owner-manager culture that promotes “being deeply invested with curiosity and courage; rewarding those who build trust; and valuing our differences as we seek to do the right thing”.
Trevor is a SAICA member and a qualified chartered accountant, having served his articles with Deloitte’s Financial Institutions Team which focused solely on auditing and consulting to SA financial service participants. Trevor has also completed an advanced management training programme at Said Business School in the UK.
